We were blessed my my in-laws this weekend... they came down from VA to visit again. What a treat it was for the kids, and for Scott and I. We usually stay around the house, hang out, watch movies, and go for an Anzi run... but this time we took them Uptown. There were all different things going on... we ended up on Tryon St. for the"blues, brews and bbq"... We walked up and down tryon... there were tons of things for the kids to do. A whole section was devoted to the kids with horse rides, a petting zoo, and rides. The kids had a blast and my in-laws enjoyed seeing some of the city. I think we will do this more often with the kids when there is something going on down there... the city is so pretty!
Lilly had a blast going down this huge blow up slide. She wanted to go a couple times in a row...but the lady was really stingy with the kids, and there wasn't a big line at all! You could tell the lady doing this blow up didn't have kids!
Zach loved feeding the sheep and goats.
Funny enough, he didn't put the food in his mouth at all...
That was a first!
Lilly, Daddy and Eli enjoyed a ferris wheel ride. I thought that Lilly would be scared because of the height... but she wasn't at all!
All three of us got a "face painting"... Eli was too cool for it to be on his face, so he asked for it to be on his arm!
The lady did this dragon in under 3 minutes.Pretty awesome!
Lilly wanted a butterfly.. she did a great job sitting so still for the lady.
Lilly and Grama B watching Eli climb the Rock Wall.He was saying that the caribeaner was hitting him in the sternum and it was hurting him.
Oh well, next time I think he's gonna make it all the way!
Thanks for coming and sharing in Grandparents day with Eli.
I know it was so special for him.
