Psalm 73: 27-28

My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. …
But for me it is good to be near God;
I have made the Lord GOD my refuge,
that I may tell of all your works.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fu-un!

This weekend the kids have been on an all time high... their cousins are in town. Jen and Shaun (my sister and bro-in-law) were able to get away for their 15th Anniversary/ 40th Birthday.... without the kids! Which means cousin time everyday... all day... and then crashin' hard at bedtime!

Well Lauren and Lilly have been playing wonderfully together... everything under the sun... from cooking, to dress-up, to baby... to princesses... it even went as far as one needing to go to the bathroom and then the other was sure to follow! It's so cute to see them together! Wherever they go they are either holding hands or they are arm in arm... hugging! These two girls are two peas in a pod.... they are totally girly! I can only imagine what they are going to be like together when they are older, into clothes, make-up, and jewelry... that's scarey! Jen and I will need to keep our wallets close... otherwise we are going to have major credit card bills on behalf of our beauty queens! :)

(the look on Lauren's face is too funny! They really were having a blast together,and Lilly... what's up with the hair? she had it in a ponytail... but she so quickly pulls it out... with that curly hair, it likes to stay somewhat poofed out!)

At the end of the day... the girls had fun snugglin' in Poppie's bed with him, watchin' some football or baseball game. Poppie, Mimi, and I all had such a great time watching these little ones play and laugh together... it's such a blessing! It brings so many memories back... they have flooded my memory this weekend. Laughter is the best medicine... it makes the heart jump... like nothing else... it can put a smile on anyone's face. It surely put a smile on mine!
