I know this is so long after the fact... but I wanted to recap our Holiday season for everyone who follows on here.... all 3 of you!
We started our Christmas time with G-ma B and G-pa T in early December. Our time with them is always a lot of fun, and we miss them so much starting the night before they end up leaving us. God has truly given me the best in-laws ever, they are truly my family. (Love you guys so much) The kids all enjoyed their time and keep asking when they are coming again... the way the little ones talk, it's as if G-ma and G-pa live next door to us.
Then my Younger sister came into town for a little over a week and visited just about every day. Our kids had such a great time together, it's alway so much fun to watch all the cousins together. They are silly, they laugh like crazy, and they are tired out by the end of each night.
Christmas Day we headed out to Bald Head Island where my side of the family (my parents and sisters and families) came together to share Christmas celebrations for 5 days. Again, all the kids together means lots of loudness, lots of laughter and lots of tiredness. Thanks to my parents friends, the Griffins, we were able to soak it all in...

The Three Fairies
Will and Zach sat for over an hour doing playdough together.
The Big Boys...and it allowed the adults to have a great time together after the kids went down to bed... that doesn't happen much at all with our family due to all the kids! The Men and older boys did A LOT of fishing while there, over a 4 day period they caught over 100 red drum and sea trout... you couldn't have asked for better fishing (Uncle Josh was oh so happy). While there it did snow (well flurry) a little bit, and I must say it was absolutely beautiful.
(the Griffin's House we stayed in)
To be by the ocean, hearing the waves crashing... and they were crashing... and to see snow flakes fall so effortlessly to the sandy earth. It was breathtaking!

Scott and I have such a great time together... just another blessing the Lord has given us, a love for each other that continues to grow with each passing day/month/year.We are so blessed to have family on both sides, that we enjoy, love and get to spend time with. Thank you Lord, your blessings never end!
