Psalm 73: 27-28

My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. …
But for me it is good to be near God;
I have made the Lord GOD my refuge,
that I may tell of all your works.

My Father Mark

So Right after I sent out the update on my father in law... early the next morning (only a couple hours after I wrote the last post)... my father, Mark suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital in Matthews (which is closest to his house) and rushed by ambulance Uptown Charlotte to Preby Main. It was some emotional ride this last weekend. We are still recouping from all of it! My father was in the hospital from Friday morning through mid morning this morning. He is now resting at home and will have to follow up with a cardiologist in a couple days. He had a stent put in to open his artery (which was 99% blocked)... and now blood is flowing through it beautifully! Praise the Lord! All the prayers that have been going up to the Father for my earthly father have covered us, the Lord has given us a peace that surpasses all our understanding, He has answered our prayers by restoring my fathers health.
Now he does have a long way to go as far as his heart regaining full strength... he tires easily right now... but Praise the Lord he is here with us. The Lord is not done with my father here on this earth ... not by a long shot! His faith is so incredibly evident... he has been leaning on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all things... and it shows. My father has a sweet spirit, he radiates the Lord in all areas of his life, and he is so incredibly at peace with all things. He never lost sight of who holds his life... and that is the Lord. What an amazing testimony he will have to tell others about the Love of Christ. He is a living miracle... docs say that if he had continued to wait any longer he would not have been here with us.
We are all incredibly grateful.
Praise the Lord!
