Psalm 73: 27-28

My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. …
But for me it is good to be near God;
I have made the Lord GOD my refuge,
that I may tell of all your works.

Only Six Months

Last week, we had a re-evaluation done on Lilly's speech. It was only last October when we started doing speach therapy for Lilly. A quick recap, Lilly got into the program at age 2, and her speach was at a level for a child that was 12-16 months old. Now we are in May... and it has only been six months of speach for Lilly and she is released as of Last Tuesday. It is a blessing to know that she has come so incredibly far in just six months... It was fully the Lords hand in our lives, because we were blessed with an amazing speach therapist, Judy Kramer, who is a believer (not to mention that Lilly's play therapist that comes on monday mornings is also a strong believer). The Lord knows what He is doing when He places people in your lives. Judy Kramer, is not only an amazing speach therapist, but she is a woman who truly cares for a childs well being and wants to see them grow. Many people don't love the job they are in, but Judy does and it is reflected through Lilly's outcome. When I found out last Tuesday was our last meeting with Judy my heart sank... I have so enjoyed talking with her, getting to know her more, and praying for her. Please if you would think about this special lady, pray for her and her family... her husband had lost his job a couple months back... pray for the Lord's provision in sending him a permanant job. I can't thank Judy and her family enough for what they had given to Lilly... their time and their talents in teaching. Lilly will be forever touched by you Judy... she loves you so much and always asks as we are driving into our neighborhood... Miss Judy coming to play? Anyway, a huge accomplishment for Lilly in just six months she has not only caught up with her age group... but has surpassed them in a couple different areas!

Wow,
6 months this is a blessing : )
One of my sons didn't get help until later(due to being displaced after Hurricane Katrina), and the other was 2 1/2 and he did well too. He was dimissed in 1 year. What a blessing that you had Christians working w/ her.
