Football season has come to a close for Eli and his teammates this year. He had such a blast playing flag football in the upward league this year. I have to say that he was wide open all season long! To finish out the season the football players and their families attended a banquet for the last hurrah, and Mike Minter spoke. This man used to play for the Carolina Panthers, and is since retired. He is a believer in Jesus Christ... and man did he do a great job speaking to our young kids. The message was about being able to accomplish your dreams. That the Lord placed a dream in your heart for a reason, and that with the Lord you can do "All things through Christ" Phil 4:13. Eli was so enthralled with Mike and what he said, I think he really took the message to heart. And as you could imagine afterwards Eli wanted to get an autograph and picture with Mike...

... and Coach Jared! we wanted to say thanks to coach for all his dedication and work he did with the kids. Coach was a great Christ-like leader. 
And yes, Mommy had to do a short photo shoot before we went in for the banquet as the kids were lining up to make their grand entrance.
