Well here we go... Jen, we're in the same boat as you... we're NUTS! Our big Christmas gift to the kids was going to be a dog... and every one we liked either had been taken, had special needs... or was not good with kids... so we went to the animal shelter and found one we thought would work... took it out with the kids and it was wild and crazy... running around like a mad man and jumping off of Lilly like she was a trampoline... so we caved in and got a Yellow lab puppy mix. She is so adorable... she was the smallest of the liter, the most docile, and just the sweetest disposition. All the kids are lovin' her. This little baby is just another addition to the two I have... I don't think it is going to be much different for me! She seems to blend in really well with our family, and the couch in the salon! Her name is Cadence, for short we will call her Cadie!

FYI...Labs are NOT small dogs and they shed like crazy!!! WOW! Christy if you didn't have your hands full before...now you will!!!

Jen, I actually have her in a laundry basket with a pillow and stuffed animal... last night was our first night with her... she whinned for about 15 minutes and then slept until about 12... took her potty... she whinned again for about 5 minutes... and slept until scott let her out this morning around 6 or so. Tonight... she went in without whinning and is absolutely zonked!
